Don’t quit until you have everything ready

Unless you have a small fortune set aside, don’t quit your present job before having everything set down to launch your small business. Etablering firma is not easy, and in case you encounter difficulties, the last thing you want is to not have financial security.

It may take a while before you start making profit from your new company, so having a secure income until you get everything set will give you less to worry about. Yes, it may take a bit more to open your small business while still working full time, but sometimes it’s better to do things slow and steady.

 

Think about bringing in a partner

Things are always easier when you don’t have to do them alone. While you may have a killing business idea, which you are certain you will be able to set up by yourself, having someone to split the chores with is always better than having to deal with everything yourself. If you know someone who may have the same vision as yourself, don’t hesitate to contact them and propose a business partnership. Even better if they know how to opprette bedrift and can help guide you through the process.

 

Have an established list of clients

Don’t plan on starting a business if you don’t have at least a short list of clients ready to place orders the moment you opened the doors. Your business can’t survive without clients, especially in the beginning, when you need to start making profit fast. Research the market, find potential clients and contact them with a proposition. Once you have a list of people ready to do business with you, you will feel more secure.

 

Don’t overlook the business plan

Many entrepreneurs make the mistake of not writing a business plan before starting a company. A business plan will help you decide if you can opprette firma that has a real future. You don’t have to write a full scale business plan if you don’t want to, but you need to at least create a rough sketch that will determine if the investment is worth your time and money. Conduct customer research, to establish if there is a market for your business and find out what the consumers’ needs are and how you can tackle them. And, most importantly, establish the budget you need and how you can come up with funding for your idea.
